The Perla del Mar Maduro is the follow-up to the highly acclaimed Perla del Mar line from JC Newman. Perla Del Mar was first conceived in the late 19th Century to honor Cuba’s highly acclaimed cigar heritage. With its rich, fertile soil creating the most flavorful cigar tobacco in the world, Cuba was regarded then as the true Peal of the Sea. Today the cigar is made in Nicaragua and we will light it up and share our thoughts with you.

In Pinar Del Rio sat Hacienda el Corojo the farm that was responsible for growing the best Corojo in the world. Before many Cuban farmers left the island nation they took with them seeds from the famous leaf.
The 22N / 83W is grown using some of those seeds grown in 5 different regions of the world. We will share with you our thoughts on 22N / 83W and let you know what this Corojo puro has to offer.

We ended the year last week by naming our 2017 Cigar of the Year, and while there were a lot of cigars that stood out, one rose above the rest in The Wise Man Maduro.
