Wednesday Aug 02, 2017
The Perdomo 20th Anniversary cigars are hand-crafted with the finest tobaccos grown exclusively on Perdomo’s most prestigious farms in Esteli, Condega, and the famed Jalapa Valley in Nicaragua. Using the highest priming tobaccos from each region, the Perdomo 20th Anniversary has a tremendous flavor profile with layer upon layer of rich, elegant, complex flavors. After being fermented to perfection, each wrapper is barrel-aged in bourbon barrels for an additional 14 months. These barrel-aged wrappers are at their peak color and flavor, making each Perdomo 20th Anniversary cigar impeccably smooth from beginning to end.
As Perdomo rolls out new packaging for the 20th Anniversary that includes an incredible looking band made in Holland we light up the 20th Anniversary Connecticut. At this years IPCPR show the state of the art booth was always packed and featured Nick’s drum set which is always an attraction.

A lot of great comics were once bumped from the Tonight Show, only to come back and make their debut weeks later. Some of these comics were never heard from again, and some went to become as famous as famous as anyone in show business.
La Galera Box Press is a cigar that follows that modus operandi. It comes to us from Jochy Blanco’s Indian Head Tobacco and we believe that this cigar is a star….

Episode #31 The Aladino Toro
Wednesday Jun 14, 2017
Wednesday Jun 14, 2017
If we were opening an ice cream store, we would have enough flavors to cut the ribbon. But alas, we are a bunch of AshHoles with a cigar podcast, so we will instead cut the cap. This week we visit Aladino from JRE Tobacco.
This is a true classic cigar that channels the past when the Eiroa family was making cigars under another name. This cigar is pure Authentic Corojo grown in The Eiroa Tobacco Farm in Honduras from the original Cuban seed of Corojo. These cigars are medium strength and represent The Golden Era of cigars in Cuba from 1947-1961, with its traditional sizes, and also available in a 6.5 x 60 (Gordo) for the more contemporary smoker. The name translate to Aladdin, and this cigar is something you would wish for from a magic lamp.

EPISODE #29 THE BANDOLERO BARBAROS
Wednesday May 31, 2017
Wednesday May 31, 2017
During a century, between 1717 & 1817, the Spanish Crown prohibited cigar production in the Caribbean Islands & the rest of the American Colonies, and although its precious leaves continued growing on the other side of the ocean, the “puro” cigar rolling that we all know today, could only be done at the Sevilla Royal Factory, supplying an even more demanding market in the world.
But such absurd prerogative led to the rising prices of tobacco and of course the birth of the Bandolero, an intrepid figure that hid on mysterious roads with tobacco leaves & rolled in other countries, led to an excellent price and authenticity combination, dressed with the charm of what was then forbidden.
Today we light up a cigar composed of tobaccos known only by a select few has their components were passed down from generation to generation.. Join us we light up Bandolero.
Join us as we give your our in depths thoughts, share some viewer mail, go miles with Styles and make our Social Media pick of the week on this weeks episode of The AshHoles.
